During the past decades, Fiona has either sung or conducted in some of the world’s greatest venues: York Minster, St. Giles and Salzburg Cathedrals; the major concert halls of Tokyo Opera City, the Beijing and Shanghai Concert Halls, and the Sydney Opera House. Fiona has been a featured soloist on numerous Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio and television broadcasts, and with such orchestras as the Vancouver Symphony, Vancouver CBC Orchestra and Symphony Nova Scotia among others.
As a professional singer, Fiona performed, recorded and toured for 13 seasons with the Vancouver Chamber Choir. She sang numerous roles with Vancouver Opera and various light opera companies. For five summers, Fiona was the classical vocalist on an Alaskan cruise ship, performing favourite operatic arias, light opera and musical theatre.
